Moyo Camp Hembe

Moyo Camp Hembe is a boutique tented camp in the Central Serengeti, set near the Hembe Hills overlooking the Seronera Valley — widely regarded as the big cat capital of Africa. The camp offers 12 luxury tents, including 11 standard tents and one family tent, each set on a raised wooden platform with a private veranda, classic safari chairs, and sweeping views across the savanna. All tents feature en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets, 24-hour hot showers, universal power outlets, in-room safes, and white bathrobes.

Dining is full-board with chef-prepared, made-to-order meals including bush breakfasts, lunches, and dinners served in wilderness settings overlooking the plains. The camp features a central dining pavilion, an open-air bar, a lounge with hanging rattan swing chairs, a campfire gathering area, and an outdoor spa offering African-inspired treatments and massages.

Guests use Camp Hembe as a base for early-morning and sunset game drives in custom 4x4 vehicles, hot-air balloon rides with celebratory bush breakfasts, walking safaris through the Seronera ecosystem, and sundowner excursions to scenic viewpoints. Cultural activities include Maasai village visits with traditional singing, dancing, and spear-throwing demonstrations. The Central Serengeti supports exceptional year-round game viewing, especially for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and resident plains wildlife.
