Itinerary
You will be picked up at 9am from your hotel in Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park is nearly 3,000 sq km and named after the Tarangire River, a key water source during the dry season. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 species of birds.

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater, formed by a collapsed volcano, is home to over 30,000 animals including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, and the rare black rhinoceros. The diverse habitats of acacia forests, swamps, and open plains provide excellent opportunities for spotting predators and herbivores alike.

Today, experience the vibrant culture of Mto Wa Mbu, a town at the gateway of Lake Manyara National Park. This half-day tour offers an up-close look at local agriculture, including rice paddies and the unique red bananas, and a chance to meet local artisans and craftsmen. You’ll also sample traditional banana beer. After the cultural visit, return to Arusha and continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
