Itinerary
After a hearty breakfast, your adventure begins with a stop in Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before setting off on your safari. From there, you will head to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive, enjoying a delicious picnic lunch amidst the stunning park scenery. Known for its impressive elephant population and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire is a key destination in the annual migratory cycle, hosting up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeests, and 30,000 zebras. As the day winds down, you will enjoy a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the beauty of nature.

This morning, after an early breakfast, you will descend to the crater floor for a 5-hour game drive. You can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many bird species. The birdlife here includes eagles, vultures, flamingos in the crater lake, storks, bats, sacred ibis, kori bustards, blacksmith plovers, and long-necked herons. Lunch will be served at the beautiful Hippo Pool picnic site. After lunch, continue the game drive before beginning a steep ascent to the top exit of the crater in the evening. You will then drive to your accommodation in Karatu to close the day.

The final day of your safari begins after a luscious breakfast. The destination for today is Lake Manyara National Park, where you will enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. As you enter the national park, lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees set the mood for what lies ahead. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. Another spectacle of Lake Manyara is the famous tree-climbing lions, though spotting them is a matter of luck. In the right season, you may also see the shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will head back towards Arusha where you will be dropped off at your accommodation, bidding goodbye to your team with incredible memories to cherish.
