This five-day luxury safari is led by a knowledgeable guide. You will stay two nights in the Serengeti, allowing ample time to discover this expansive park, renowned for the Great Migration and large felines. Next, you will explore the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, celebrated for its incredible vistas and diverse wildlife. This itinerary is crafted to provide sufficient time to appreciate each park, observe a variety of animals, and unwind, with just one extended, picturesque drive included.
Itinerary
You will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the Zanzibar Airport, where you will board a small plane that will fly you to the Serengeti Airstrip. You will arrive in Serengeti in the late morning as the flight may have a stopover in Arusha.
Afterwards, you will begin game drives in the afternoon, heading to the lodge for lunch before embarking on another game drive. You will have the opportunity to witness a breathtaking sunset in the Serengeti.

After having breakfast, you will proceed with your game drive. Today, you have the option to either embark on a full-day game drive or divide it into two sessions — one in the morning and another in the evening.
If you opt for some relaxation, you can unwind in the afternoon. However, if you wish to witness more wildlife, we suggest staying out for the entire day.

After enjoying an early breakfast, you will embark on a game drive to explore various areas of the park. You will then return to the lodge for lunch. Following this, you will check out and commence your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
In the evening, you will reach the Ngorongoro Melia Lodge, offering a splendid view of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Upon check-in, you will savor dinner and retire early, preparing for an exhilarating early morning descent into the crater.

After having breakfast, you will descend into the crater for a 5-hour safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last black rhinos.
With food and water available year-round, the crater teems with wildlife such as wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and large African elephants. It is also an excellent spot to observe predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and even the rare leopard.
You will have a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the late afternoon, you will return to Arusha airport to catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
