Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a member of our team will warmly welcome and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha for your overnight stay. Take this time to relax and enjoy a delicious African-style meal at a calm lodge featuring a natural setup and a beautiful garden, as you prepare for the safari ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to view Mount Kilimanjaro on the way to Arusha. Once in the city, we can also offer a brief city tour to help you get acquainted with the local culture. This will also be a good time to shop for any essentials or souvenirs.

After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from the lodge or hotel, brief you on the day's activities, and begin your scenic journey to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes in hand. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way. Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds, tree-climbing African pythons, and diverse scenery. The park features seasonal swamps, open savannah, and the life-giving Tarangire River. During your game drives, you may witness lions stalking their prey or leopards lounging in the trees. After the game drive, you'll be transferred to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay. We're confident your day in Tarangire will be memorable and filled with unique wildlife experiences.

Start your day early in the morning, departing from your lodge for a full-day safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most breathtaking natural wonders. Descend 600 meters into the world's largest unbroken volcanic caldera, where a unique ecosystem supports a high density of wildlife. The crater floor is home to the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the rare black rhino—along with large herds of zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and gazelles. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, surrounded by scenic views of the crater walls. Discover the ancient traditions of Tanzania's indigenous tribes with a visit to the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and Datoga blacksmiths near Lake Eyasi. Join the Hadzabe as they hunt with bows and arrows, gather wild foods, and demonstrate their unique click-language. Then visit the Datoga people to observe their traditional metalwork, cattle-herding lifestyle, and cultural practices. This experience offers a rare and insightful glimpse into two of Africa's most distinctive local communities.

After breakfast, our driver-guide will greet you and pick you up for your transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. You will eat a picnic lunch. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. Lake Manyara National Park is well known for its unusual tree-climbing lions and large elephant herds. You will also witness the lake's shores, often teeming with pink flamingos, along with over 400 bird species, including many waterfowl and migratory birds.
