Tour highlights
This tour will bring you to Tarangire National Park and Serengeti National Park. Your Tanzanian adventure will conclude with a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. This private Tanzania wildlife safari and tour is crafted to give you extra time in the Serengeti National Park, providing new thrills and unforgettable experiences.
Itinerary
After breakfast, you will meet our guide-driver for a short briefing before heading into the Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park follows the line of the Tarangire River and consists mainly of low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Its natural vegetation mostly includes acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees, with large swamp areas in the south. During Tanzania’s Dry season, the river and swamps attract wild animals like a magnet.
Tarangire National Park is known for having some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park also hosts three rare animal species – the greater kudu, the fringed-eared oryx, and the ashy starling. We will enjoy a picnic lunch, then continue with the game viewing until late evening. Afterward, we will drive to our accommodation for the night.

After breakfast, we make our way towards the Serengeti National Park via the scenic high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains stretching into the distance as far as the eye can see. Our destination is the central section of the park, known as the Seronera area, one of the most abundant wildlife regions in the park. It features the Seronera River, which offers an essential water source and draws wildlife representing most of the Serengeti’s species.
We arrive in time for lunch and look forward to an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Be among the select few to experience a hot-air balloon ride over the Serengeti plains (available at an additional cost by prior arrangement). Drift quietly above the waking bush, observing wildlife and taking in Africa's stunning scenery across rivers and over many small villages.
Following the hot-air balloon adventure, we proceed with a game-viewing drive along the Sogore River circuit. This route loops into the plains south of the Seronera River and offers a good chance of spotting lions, Thomson's gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. The Visitor Centre, near the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is definitely worth visiting after the morning’s game drive. This well-designed center features some captivating wildlife displays and a gift shop offering information leaflets and area maps.

After an early breakfast, we will descend over 600 meters into the crater for a half-day safari tour to observe wildlife. The Ngorongoro National Park, with its reliable water supply and forage year-round, hosts a wide range of animals such as herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and the giant African elephant. Another major attraction of this scenic national park is its high concentration of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to detect. We will explore Lake Magadi, a significant but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern part, which stands out as one of the crater's main attractions. Numerous flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds are usually visible here.
