Step into the wilderness on a walking safari in Arusha National Park, where your initial day could lead you to encounters with zebras, buffaloes, and giraffes just 100 meters away. And that's just the start! In the following 2 days, you'll venture into Tarangire, renowned for its elephants and massive baobabs, and the Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to the highest concentration of wildlife on Earth.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Arusha National Park. Enjoy a half-day walking safari with an armed ranger. The park hosts zebras, water buffaloes, giraffes, various monkeys, and over 500 bird species. Mount Meru, Tanzania's second-highest peak, towers in the background. After a packed lunch, have a game drive to the Ngurdoto Crater and the Momela Lakes. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight. Walking distance: 2-5km. Walking time: 2-4 hours.
