6-Day Best of Lake Natron and Great Wildebeest Migration

After breakfast, our tour guide driver will pick you up from the Lodge early in the morning and start an amazing journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes. Tarangire Park is well known for its large elephant herds and consists of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands. You may have the experience of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above. Once game drives are done, you'll drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll set off on a scenic drive to Lake Natron, a breathtaking alkaline lake famous for its thousands of flamingos and surreal red-colored waters. You'll enjoy the rugged beauty of the Great Rift Valley as you pass through Maasai villages and dramatic volcanic landscapes. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a guided hike to the stunning Ngare Sero Waterfall, a hidden oasis in the arid wilderness. Arriving in Northern Serengeti, you'll embark on an exciting full-day game drive, following the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration as massive herds brave the treacherous Mara River crossing. You'll watch in awe as thousands of wildebeest and zebras battle powerful currents and lurking crocodiles in one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on Earth. With expert guidance from your professional safari guide, explore this remote wilderness, tracking big cats, elephants, and other incredible wildlife before settling into your lodge or camp for a well-deserved rest under the African sky.

You'll wake up early and enjoy breakfast. Then, you'll continue with a game drive with a picnic lunch box in Northern Serengeti with a special eye to the Great Migration. Later, you'll drive back to Central Serengeti, where you'll stop for the night. Serengeti National Park is well known for its great Migration. The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals crossing the Mara River to the Masai Mara in Kenya. The migration crosses the Mara River, which is full of crocodiles. The best time to visit is from July to early October every year.

You'll start your day with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife paradise and home to the Big Five. You'll explore its diverse landscapes, from lush forests to open grasslands and shimmering lakes, spotting lions, elephants, rhinos, and hippos. You'll enjoy a scenic picnic lunch by the hippo pool before continuing your game drive through this UNESCO-listed natural wonder. In the afternoon, you'll ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, passing through picturesque highlands and Maasai villages. You'll arrive by evening, marking the end of an unforgettable safari adventure.
