Itinerary
Collect guests from Arusha and drive them to Lake Manyara National Park. We reach there in time for lunch at the lodge, and following lunch, we venture into Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. This national park is among Tanzania’s most striking wildlife destinations, featuring a vast, shallow soda lake (occupying two-thirds of the park), situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The park's diverse habitat draws a wide array of animals, including one of Africa’s largest populations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s distinctive tree-climbing lions, as well as large gatherings of flamingos drawn by the lake's algae.

Following breakfast, we proceed towards the Serengeti National Park, traveling through the picturesque high altitude farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind us, we make our way into the core of untamed Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. We proceed to the central part of the park, known as the Seronera area, which is among the park's richest wildlife habitats. This area features the Seronera River, an important water source that draws in wildlife representing most of the Serengeti's species.

Following breakfast at the lodge, we head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will pause at Olduvai Gorge, which has a history going back to the very beginning of time. It was in this location that anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey found the skulls of 'Nutcracker Man' and 'Handy Man', both vital connections in the human evolution chain.

Following breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park. The park stretches along the Tarangire River and is largely comprised of low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Its natural vegetation predominantly features Acacia woodlands and giant African Baobab trees, with extensive swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps serve as a magnet for wildlife during the dry season in Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is known for having some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species: the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and a few Ashy Starlings. Following a picnic lunch, we embark on an afternoon game drive.
