After an early breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River that flows through it. This 'river of warthogs' is the sole water source for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In certain areas, the vegetation is dense with elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The park is renowned for its elephant families, often seen gathering by the river. Tarangire is the prime location to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat, from the adorable calves to the imposing bulls. You might also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are closely trailed by various predators, such as lions and leopards. Tarangire National Park boasts more breeding species of birds than any other place on Earth. Following lunch and an extensive game drive, we will proceed to our accommodation. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Maramboi Tented Lodge.

Have an early breakfast and then drive to Serengeti with game viewing en-route. Serengeti is widely recognized as the most famous wildlife sanctuary globally, unparalleled in its natural beauty and scientific significance. It boasts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa. The migration is what Serengeti is most renowned for. Every October and November, over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras migrate south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains, and then move west and north after the long rains in April, May, and June. The ancient instinct to move is so strong that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can stop them. Serengeti is the true home of the iconic Great Wildebeest Migration. The park is teeming with wildlife, vast plains, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that stir the soul. A packed lunch will be provided at a picnic site. In the late afternoon, drive to your accommodation for dinner and spend the night at Lahia Tented Lodge.
