Tour highlights

This 8-day tour takes you to the renowned northern circuit parks. You will spend 4 days in the Serengeti, the largest park, known for the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebras. Next, the tour proceeds to the Ngorongoro Crater, a true highlight, featuring stunning landscapes and excellent game viewing opportunities. Finally, the tour visits Tarangire National Park, which is smaller than the Serengeti but renowned for its large elephant herds. The tour concludes with a short hike to the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Itinerary

We will collect you from the airport and then transfer you to the hotel, with an optional tour of Arusha city. This brief city tour will introduce you to Tanzania and prepare you for your trip the following day. In the evening, we will provide a briefing on the activities for the remainder of the tour. Depending on your arrival time in Arusha, you can opt for a short hike to Kilima Moto to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Mid-range, Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa

Accommodation included

We will pick you up from the hotel at 8:00 am, introduce you to our guide, and take a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is renowned for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and boasts the country's largest population of elephants! You will encounter these giants up close and observe the interactions between elephant families. We will follow reported animal sightings as we embark on a game drive. There are plenty of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. The predators (lions, cheetahs, and leopards) are more challenging to spot. Later, we will go to the river picnic site and enjoy the beautiful river view and animals while having lunch. Keep an eye out for small monkeys and baboons that may try to scare you and take your lunch! They are, however, nothing to worry about. After lunch, we will continue with the game drive before we exit the park around 5:30 pm and head to our accommodation (Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge) for dinner and an overnight stay.
