This exclusive midrange safari takes you through the best of Tanzania's Northern Circuit, including Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara. With full-board accommodation in a mix of lodges and tented camps, you will have a high chance of encountering the Big Five and other spectacular wildlife. The 3-night stay in Serengeti allows for immersive game viewing and unforgettable scenery.

Itinerary

Once you arrive in Tanzania, a representative will meet and greet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You'll be transferred to your lodge in Arusha where you will receive a briefing about your upcoming adventure. Along the way, enjoy views of Tanzania’s dramatic landscapes and, weather permitting, Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River that flows through it. It is known for large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. These giants, some over 700 years old, dominate a landscape also rich with lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, and over 400 species of birds.
You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park followed by an afternoon game drive. Then transfer to a permanent tented camp in the wilderness for dinner and overnight.

Spend the full day exploring one of Tanzania’s most impressive parks. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, wildebeest, and lions in open savannahs, riverine woodlands, and near waterholes. The Tarangire River is the main water source, drawing herds and predators alike.
Lunch and dinner are served at camp with an afternoon game drive following your midday break.

In the morning, take a cultural walking tour in the multicultural village of Mto wa Mbu. Visit banana and rice plantations, a local beer factory, a school, and a wood carving workshop.
After lunch, drive through the Great Rift Valley to reach the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying panoramic views and photo stops. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge.

Descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural amphitheater is home to around 25,000 large mammals, including black rhinos, elephants, hippos, lions, hyenas, and flamingos. After a picnic lunch in the crater, continue to Serengeti National Park.
Arrive at your camp mid-afternoon and settle in before dinner.
