Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge

Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge is a mid-range safari lodge set on the peninsula of Lake Mulehe, approximately 13 km from Kisoro town. Part of the Uganda Cultural Lodges group, the property commands breathtaking 270-degree views over the lake and the three scenic volcanic peaks of the Virunga Mountain Range — Sabyinyo, Muhabura, and Gahinga. Its strategic position between the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park makes it an ideal base for gorilla trekking in either park.

Each cottage reflects original African architecture with individual styling, en-suite bathrooms featuring bathtubs and hot water showers, and private verandas where guests can watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the lake. The lodge emphasizes organic dining, preparing meals that accommodate various dietary requirements using locally sourced ingredients.
