Tilenga Safari Lodge

Tilenga Safari Lodge is a newly built mid-range property set on the northern boundary of Murchison Falls National Park, just 1.7 km from Tangi Gate on the Karuma-Pakwach road. Perched on the northern banks of the Albert Nile near Pakwach Bridge, the lodge offers panoramic views across the savannah and river from every accommodation unit. Its location outside the park boundary means guests avoid overnight park fees while remaining close enough for early-morning game drives.

The lodge offers 13 elegantly furnished cottages and 2 luxury elevated tents, all raised off the ground with private en-suite bathrooms, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, and wooden balconies facing the Nile. Communal facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant serving continental and African-inspired cuisine, a well-stocked bar, and an evening fireplace area. The property runs on solar energy and uses biodegradable toiletries, reflecting an eco-conscious approach.

Activities arranged through the lodge include game drives into Murchison Falls National Park, boat cruises on the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls, sport fishing for Nile perch, chimpanzee trekking in Kaniyo Pabidi Forest, and birdwatching across the park's 450+ recorded species.
